Current Exhibitions
In our Show "Dots and Stripes" we will show works on paper by one of the most famous Pop Art representatives, Roy Lichtenstein.

The exhibition runs through July 22nd.

The Opening Reception of the Show is on May 20th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm by Invitation only.

Besides Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann or Keith Haring he is one of the most famous Pop Art artists, well known for his Comic-like artworks.

He often used Comic strips as draft and produced large scale works using hard-edged figures and Ben-Day dots.

His works were first shown in the famous Castelli Gallery in New York in the 60ies.
Roy Lichtenstein was born on October 27th 1923 and died in New York on September 29th 1997.

His works are on the collections of all important museums around the world like Tate London, MoMA New York, or Museum Ludwig in Cologne.

There will be several important exhibitions in the Art Institute of Chicago in 2012, The National Gallery Washington in 2013 and the Tate Modern in England, also in 2013.

Due to this fact his work will be even more in focus of Pop Art collectors around the world within the next years.
