ART DEALERS & GALLERIES AROUND THE WORLD
|
 |
| Galerie Lilian Rodriguez
Founded in 1989, the Galerie Lilian Rodriguez presents contemporary art in all its forms, with a special accent on Latin American art of today.
The artists whom we represent distinguish themselves by their poetic side but their works resolutely tackle subjects that are specific to our time. Moreover, our interest in various cultures, in the aesthetic as well as anthropological sense, has enabled us to enrich our collection of contemporary art. Over the years, the Galerie Lilian Rodriguez has ensured the inclusion of the works by our gallery artists in prominent museums and corporate collections.
Our services are addressed to seasoned art enthusiasts as well as to first-time collectors.

Abstraction: des points de vue
October 18- November 22, 2008
Lise Boisseau
Dan Brault
Luce Meunier
Geneviève Rocher
François Simard
Justin Stephens
Gestual, geometric, monochromatic, with organic shapes or motifs drawn from nature that may bring to mind a flower, an eye, an animal or a human figure, abstraction has what is necessary to disrupt the observer’s fervent search for information. In order to explore abstraction as a pictorial genre, we invited six painters to provide their interpretations. By sharing their creative research, they incite the viewer to broaden his or her frame of reference.
