Gallery for contemporary jewellery and hollowware
Galerie Metal is the oldest exhibition space in Denmark for contemporary jewellery and hollowware. The gallery was founded by Jan Lohmann and Peder Musse in 1978.
In July 2001 the gallery was taken over by a group of young Danish artists. They formed a society with the aim of running a gallery on an international level in order to exhibit foreign and Danish jewellery and hollowware.
The gallery arranges exhibitions showing internationally acknowledged artists. There are a further two annual theme exhibitions by members of the gallery. In addition to these shows the works of the members are on permanent display at Galerie Metal.
