Galerie Rigassi

Contemporary Art from various artist-generations and from different parts of the world are part of the Gallery Rigassi’s program. Besides notable national and international artists as Arman, Arnuf Rainer and Martin Disler the Gallery Rigassi regularly presents single- or groupshows with newcomers or artists from european countries unbeknown in Siwtzerland yet. Art from outside the european culture plays an important role in the Gallery Rigassi.

Raphael T. Rigassi who founded the gallery in 1991 is one of the pioneers in global art and presents works of Aboriginal Artists as well as paintings of the well-known chinese Zhou Brothers. For to inspire the public art discourse, Raphael T. Rigassi founded in 2002 a prize for young swiss art-critics.
