In 2003 LiÄna hiÅ¡a was established in Ajdovscini as a visual arts and
design centre. It is led by the two designers Polona Kunaver LiÄen and
David LiÄen. LiÄna hiÅ¡a organises various events. It is a studio as well
as retail gallery for art prints and paintings of the authors.
Throughout the year the workshops for children and adults are organised
on the ground floor, primarily preparatory courses for the fine arts
academy exams. On the 1st floor the gallery space is open for
exhibitions of selected local and internati onal artists (around 5
exhibitions annually).
Next to the gallery programme LiÄna hiÅ¡a organises various cultural
events, lectures and music festival dedicated to the young singing
talents in the region.
