Set among the rolling hills of North Derbyshire, the small village of Rowsley is situated on the edges of the Peak District National Park and the Duke of Devonshire's rural estate with it's magnificent Chatsworth House. The village is also close to the Elizabethan Haddon Hall and the thriving market town of Bakewell.

The aim of the gallery is to offer a diverse range of contemporary fine and applied art by established and emerging artists.
