Joyce Gallery is pleased to present Feel the Red, an exhibition that explores the expressive effects of “Red†in contemporary Chinese art. Red is a color term with strong and varied cultural associations and implications. It is not just a color; moreover, in this exhibition, the work on view shares the emotions, feelings, memories and reflections. Including work by Li Shuang, Pan Dehai, Shen Xiaotong, Xiong Lijun, Yang Qian, Zeng Chuanxing and other established contemporary Chinese artists, the show allows viewer to see and feel more than just red.
