Mirai Projects

Inaugurated in November 2006, Mirai Projects is a contemporary art space with the aim to exhibit a programme of international and Scandinavian emerging, as well as mid career artists working in all media. With the group exhibition Feminized, the gallery was setting
the agenda of showcasing artists with rigorous works, unafraid to put their subjectivity in the
public realm.

The gallery is currently working with a core of eight artists based in Sweden, Norway, Japan and Germany. Solo shows by these artists, but also group shows consisting of both represented and invited emerging and established artists make up a schedule of
approximately six to eight shows per year.

Further goals of the gallery is also to retain and develop available contacts in East Asia (Japan, China and Korea), and to introduce the dynamic art scenes of these countries to the Scandinavian audience.
