In conjunction with his solo exhibition, Lou Beach: Stories & Pictures from June 24 - August 5, 2012, Offramp Gallery is pleased to present a reading and book signing of Lou Beach's 420 Characters, on Sunday, August 5 at 3pm, during the closing reception for the exhibition.



420 Characters has been long-listed for the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award for 2012 and has earned praise from The New York Times Book Review, Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, Mother Jones and many others.



Copies of 420 Characters will be available for purchase in the Blog Store at the gallery or bring your own copy for Beach to sign. The Cafe will be open.



The exhibition Lou Beach: Stories & Pictures consists of new and recent collages by the artist. Signed copies of Beach's print, Chef (see below), a commission for the New York Times Review of Books, will also be available for purchase. There will be an opening... [ Read all ]
