The Centre for Contemporary Art of Villa Manin features an annual programme alternating
thematic exhibitions with artists from all over the world, collaborations with major
international museums, sculpture projects in the park of the villa, shows dedicated to
artists of the Region and various collateral events. The aim of the Centre is to promote
contemporary art in a heterogeneous and concentric way: both by the presentation of
prestigious museum collections - which can introduce the present by way of a more
“historical� path - and through the works of important artists from the present or curated
exhibitions focusing on specific aspects of today’s art.
Concentrating on contemporary art, this institution aims to become the messenger of a
constantly growing collective interest in current art forms and, at the same time, it wishes
to contribute in an independent, dynamic manner to the cultural development of the Friuli-
Venezia Giulia Region.
