Wasps Artists' Studios

Wasps Artists' Studios is an award-winning charity which provides affordable studio space to support the careers of up to 750 visual artists working in Scotland today.
Now with a 30 year track record, we have grown to become one of the largest studio providers in the UK with a network of 17 buildings from the Scottish Borders to the Shetland Islands.

Wasps Artists' Open Studio Weekend
11am - 5pm, Saturday 4th October
12 noon - 5pm, Sunday 5th October

Over 200 artists at 14 buildings in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Irvine, Paisley, Selkirk, Newburgh in Fife and Nairn are taking part this year showcasing a huge variety of art, from painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking and photography to digital media, jewellery, glass, installation and sculpture.
Since the event began in 2002, 25,000 visitors have had the chance to meet artists in their studios, chat to them about their work and learn the tricks of a number of different creative trades. The event has also generated almost £250,000 in sales and commissions - money which goes directly into artists' pockets.
