Wu Gallery

Wu Ediciones was created in 1990, with the publication of an art book edited by Frances Wu, printed on an art printing workshop. This was to be the adventurous beginning of her established in 1996, her own printing workshop. It soon became one of the meeting points of creative exchange where our team, artists and artisans created and produced impressive limited art editions in an amiable comradeship spirit and with a constant inquisitive mind of experimentation. The necessity to provide a significant exhibition space in the cultural scene and to offer a professional consulting art service motivated the creation of a new art gallery and printing workshop, by the end of 1998 located in the district of Barranco.
The gallery exhibits contemporary artists in different media, specializing in discovering cutting edge young artists and introduce them to the art market. It represents established artists as Carlos Runcie Tanaka and shows a permanent collection of our editions and of other printing workshops.
