The Gallery Sonja Roesch focuses on reductive and concept-based art.

‘In today’s world we experience such a visual overload so that reductive and concept based art becomes a deep relief on one level, creating a break or space in the visual norm, and a series of questions on another. Border lining the realm of science, this art deals with color, light, and the experimentation of alternative materials. Its outcome is independent of popular styles, based on basic aesthetics, and emanates timelessness.’

Sonja Roesch founded the Gallery in 1991 in Germany. In 1996, she relocated to Houston, Texas and continues to pursue her vision with a program of international artists working with painting, drawing, and sculpture.
