Since May 2003, THE MAIN STREET GALLERY, Groton NY, has provided an intimate view to contemporary fine art where city meets rural with rotating exhibitions by regional, national and international emerging and established artists. The gallery is recognized as one of the premiere galleries in Central New York for new art.
Nestled in the Finger Lakes Region, this privately run gallery is located in the vibrant village of Groton, NY. The gallery is close to Syracuse, NY and Ithaca, home to Cornell University and Ithaca College. Roger and Adrienne Bea Smith, who are artists in their own right, are directors of the gallery.
The Main Street Gallery features fine art in diverse styles in all media. Each year the gallery has solo, group and theme shows. Three national juried shows are also presented annually - Small Art Quilt Works (Jul 27 - Sept 2, 2007), Photography (Oct 25-Nov 25 2007) and Small Works Painting Exhibition (November 29- December 30, 2007).
