Submission Policy - Austin Gallery
For £50, the artist can upload 5 pieces of art to sell on the site (or £15 per piece).
The work on the site is not only limited to cyberspace - ArtKandy also has a gallery in the centre of London's bustling east end art scene, promoting both the physical work on the premises and the work on the website.
Our gallery space is designed not only to encompass the people who already buy and view art but also to reach out to a new demographic. We have done this by combining a cafe/social hub within a gallery space in a highly vibrant area of an already renowned world artistic capital. This offers the exhibiting artists in both the physical and virtual galleries a fantastic opportunity to showcase themselves and their work.
This one off payment will ensure the work is catalogued and presented to prospective buyers in both locations.
Artists can alternatively opt out of the pre-pay scheme and instead choose to pay a percentage of the sale price when the piece sells.
If this route is chosen the cost per sale is 30% of the final sale price. (i.e. if a piece of work sells for £10 then Artkandy's commission would be £3)
