Gallery/Dealer Details - Bonnie Hall

Bonnie Hall’s twenty-five year background as a private art dealer has mainly focused on social entrepreneurial activities. This includes organizing public area painting and sculpture commissions, major art acquisitions to and for national/international collections, and helping to organize the 1997 California Governors Conference on the Arts. As president of International Arts Corporation for 15 years, Bonnie worked with clients such as the Bank of America, Home Savings of America, the Carnation Company, the Getty Center for the History of Art, the City of Brea, Baron Thyssen Bornemisza II, Eli Broad Family Foundation, and the Isetan Museum in Tokyo, Japan.

More recently, she developed a notable art in education program for high school students called Art-Bytes which won a 2002 National Endowment for the Arts award. One of the projects designed for this program, Out of the Box - a youth art exhibition, toured the Western U.S. and Australia and was selected a model for the California Department of Education sponsored website www.teachingarts.org and the California Technology Assistance Project.

Bonnie has listings in the Art in America Annual Guide, Art, Inc Guide to Artists Associations, California Art Council Guide to Nonprofit Organizations and the Art Management Association Directory. The most notable committees and councils she has served on include the World Council of Art, Tokyo; the Advisory Council, USC School of Fine Arts; and a planning committee for the 21st Century Learning Center program sponsored by the Foundation Consortium in Sacramento. Bonnie has also written critiques on art for international trade journals.
