Your support throughout ensured we were able to deliver a very unique and special global launch to a very wide global audience. We wanted to find a unique British venue and we have received many comments regarding our choice of the Saatchi Gallery - and it's suitability for the Global Launch of XJ - the "fusion of Art and Machine."
You worked tirelessly to support us with regard to liaison with both Cadogan Estates and the local residents for which we are most grateful. Thank you for helping us to create the Global reveal we had envisaged - I hope you are able to now get some rest before your next events.
Remember to tell that car manufacturer that rejected the Saatchi Gallery as a venue - "as it was impossible to get cars in" that it still is! We just created a bit of Jaguar/Saatchi magic."

"On behalf of the Crafts Council, I am writing to send our warmest thanks to you all for your contribution to the success of COLLECT 2009 at the Saatchi Gallery.
Overall the event was a great success. It was extremely well received by visitors who expressed great enthusiasm for the step change in COLLECT made possible by the new venue and its increased space.
Over 10,000 visitors attended the event including 1,300 at the private view, meeting our target and exceeding numbers for Collect 2008. We do know that many exhibitors sold well, and that sales held up despite the recession. Press coverage was extremely good this year.
We would very much like to progress discussions with you regarding firming up our dates for COLLECT 2010.
In the meantime I would like to thank you for your commitment, patience and support to the Crafts Council in making COLLECT 2009 a very successful event.
