I love this proposal, hits the brief wonderfully good luck

This image has nothing to do with the story of the book.

I love this piece

will make a perfect cover for short novel or comics

this wonderful proposal has certainly caused a debate!

posted by: tomWL | 01/05/2008

some of these comments seem very bitter, it seems 'anon' has copied and pasted his sad message on every shortlisted entry. this is meant to be criticism, not playground verbal sniping.... grow up, this piece has orginality and flare. it certainly seems to have got a compelling reaction.

Here is a cigar. it is a boy. Too much blue.

posted by: WH | 01/05/2008

Don´t want to be a bad sport, especially because I´m a big fan of blue and I like your idea behind the concept...but I still think your cover need something more to make me open the book...

I must be on a completely different planet!!! How much were the judges paid to let this through? Sorry creator - it's not you I have a problem with. The head of Saatchi online? I obviously gave Saatchi more credit than was due.

posted by: hugh thomas | 30/04/2008

Hell no!

posted by: Jane Doe | 30/04/2008

It is necessary time for the judges to retire!! How to choose these 20 book covers. Other participants were much better, certainly this competition is big one joke!

posted by: Amy | 30/04/2008

I love blue in any combination, this one is away too dark I almost can not see the reading siluethe.I doubt I can notice this cover among other books, but I like the concept.

completely fulfills the authors brief. i think this is the most marketable/ individual cover design on here.

posted by: anne parker | 25/04/2008

the most cutting edge proposal on here... if innovation is the formula they are after, this should do very well :)

posted by: cerisepainter | 25/04/2008

WOW! the author should be pleased with this one. brilliant design.

posted by: jamesart | 25/04/2008

posted by: Charlie | 02/04/2008

Check the format (dimensions) on the brief - should be 197x130mm

posted by: Anon | 19/03/2008

One of my top five, hope you do well with this entry

posted by: jannizart | 10/03/2008
