I am a 'soon to be' Gallerist (if my plans all go well) I wish I had planned this twenty years ago but, on the other hand, maybe my years of sales and marketing experience will now come in useful and really help the fortunes of the artists I am lucky enough to build relationships with. My gallery will be in the South East of England. I am sensing that the artist/gallery relationship can often be difficult and this is something I really need to understand from the artists point of view. Please contact me and let me know your opinions, the good, the bad, where galleries go wrong, how they could do it better, I value your opinion and will learn from constructive comments.
