Getting There - Saint Louis Art Museum
The Saint Louis Art Museum is situated in Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks in the United States, just west of downtown St. Louis, Missouri.
Free parking is available in paved lots around the Museum as well as on the surrounding streets. Designated parking spaces for persons with disabilities are available near the South Wing entrance.
Directions to the Museum:
By car:
Forest Park is accessible via I-64/Rte. 40. From the west and east, exit right (34D). Continue north into the park, and then follow signs to the Art Museum. From I-44, west and east, exit right (286). Continue north on Hampton Ave. into the park, and then follow signs.
By public transportation:
Public transportation is available via MetroBus and MetroLink. The Hampton #90 MetroBus stops in front of the Museum and at the Forest Park MetroLink station. The Forest Park MetroLink station is located across from the Missouri History Museum at 250 DeBaliviere Ave. For schedules and fares, call Metro St. Louis at 314.231.2345 or visit www.metrostlouis.org. During the summer, Metro St. Louis offers the Zip2 shuttle bus, which stops at all the Park's major attractions.
