Disabled Visitors
Since its creation in 1986, the Musée d\'Orsay has been committed to making its collections and services (bookshop, postcard shop, restaurant and café) accessible to all visitors.
Ramps and lifts provide access for visitors to the three main levels of the museum. Accessibility for disabled visitors is a constant concern, and recent improvements include new signposts, automatic doors and improved procedures to welcome disabled visitors. Special toilets are also available.

All disabled visitors access the museum using entrance \"C\". This is a priority entry into the museum.

Personalised welcome by prior appointment
The museum also provides disabled persons with the possibility of being accompanied from the museum entrance to the permanent collections. This service, devised to promote their autonomy, is free but subject to museum opening hours. On week-ends, please make an appointment several days in advance.

Auditorium
Concerts, lectures and symposia, cinema festivals, are regularly programmed in the museum auditorium, level -2, accessible using lifts A and B. The auditorium can accommodate up to three wheelchairs at one time.
Please arrive 20 minutes before the performance with your ticket. Advance reservation is advised.
The auditorium is equipped with a magnetic loop: visitors should adjust their hearing aid to T position.

Café and Restaurant
The Musée d\'Orsay Restaurant
The museum Restaurant is situated in what used to be the restaurant of the hotel of the Gare d\'Orsay . Its turn of the 19th century decoration offers a relaxing setting for a break in your visit.
You can lunch on a cold buffet or on a main course and dessert for 14.90 Euros. A children\'s menu is available for 7.15 Euros.

The Café des Hauteurs
Situated on the 5th floor, the Café des Hauteurs provides a setting for a short break: quiches, salads and hot and cold drinks are available.
The Mezzanine
Situated above the Café des Hauteurs, the Mezzanine provides self-service facilities for quick snacks, sandwiches and drinks, as well as special menus for school groups.
