An elegant tea is served in the Museum’s famous Upper Rotunda, accompanied by live music and baked goods. This is a wonderful way to relax and unwind after work or arrange to meet a friend and catch up. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.

• MFA firstfridays/MFA fridays
Offering the most elegant evening atmosphere in Boston, mfafirstfridays is held on the first Friday of every month from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Entrance to mfafirstfridays is included with general admission. In the summer mfafridays is held every Friday.

• Shopping
The MFA Museum Bookstore & Shop features the largest selection of art books in New England, as well as classic sculpture, elegant jewelry, colorful scarves, handcrafted decorative arts, and educational children’s toys. Visit www.mfa.org, or call 617.369.3575.
