| The National Gallery of Art, located on the National Mall between 3rd and 7th Streets at Constitution Avenue NW, is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Gallery is closed on December 25 and January 1.

Museum visits for students:

Gallery docents use an interactive, inquiry-based approach to engage students at many levels of learning and interest. Museum visits include in-depth study of between four and six works of art and are designed to help students become familiar with and comfortable in the museum setting.
Preparatory materials are available for tours, except where noted.
