Description:For me, this piece explores the plurality and mass-produced qualities of a stock picture postcard. What is particularly at play here is the way in which religion is often fetishized through the reproducibility of its symbols while at the same time trying to attest to the eternal void which the image attempts to describe by compressing the abstract into a picture-concept.
