Description:‘One Thousand Paintings' seeks out the purity of line and colour, creating imagery in an array of geometric designs. Each small, hand-painted wooden block informs the next, building a systematised, yet spontaneous, approach. Ordered chronologically the piece depicts formalized space within a unified size, uniting, whilst highlighting the distinctiveness of each piece.
