DONATELLA CUOCOBorn in Italy. Lives in: LONDONroehampton I am an extremely focused individual with the ability to develop/implement strategies, whilst multi-tasking & meeting objectives. The main theme for the project was the absence of evil in photography. In the first place, the elimination of humans from the photographs will be seen as the means of removing evil. Travelling to places like Sicily and Edinburgh, I have managed to collect a series of photographs of my own. Empty landscapes are places where I was able to relax and reflect on several things without external distractions. |

Work of art I would like to makeMy aspiration in life is to travel the world and encounter a variety of cultures, learning about religious beliefs and the diverse ways of living within our world.Two places that particularly interest me are Sri Lanka and Thailand. I have thought indepth About a few concepts for my photography that I would like to explore whilst traveling in these 2 countries. I would like to look at women within these 2 cultures and look at their roles within society and how they are perceived within its culture, drawing parallel concepts between religion, race and social belonging. I am very inspired by the dress codes of women within these particular cultures - seeing how dress is used to reflect personal identity, not only in a social aspect, but religious too. Something very close to my heart is my family, and I would love to explore the family life of people within these 2 country's in order to see how love, unity and respect is carried through the culture. |
