I like art education. I especially like exposing and deconstructing how it works. My practice is hermetic, humourous and self referential; I appropriate, intervene, manipulate and respond to whatever institutional framework I am presented with. My education is my practice, and my practice is my artwork. I endeavour to make people laugh while I educate them.

Work of art I would like to makeNow that I have left Nottingham Trent University I am in a position where I am looking for another institution to make artwork about. Therefore if chosen I would make artwork about 'New Sensations' and The Saatchi Gallery, possibly commenting on how an audience interacts with contemporary art, the way contemporary is viewed by a wider audience and the educational methods deployed by the gallery. I will do this by creating comical 'informative' posters, satirical fictional 'art' guides and interventional performances. |
