Alice's Adventures Underground

Photo Description:
Acrylic on board final piece from my coursework. A modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's children's story, with an urban Alice in London following my theme of Dreams and Nightmares. Inspiration taken from Venician Renaissance medicine, or 'Theriac', Joel Rea (the depth and perspective of the corridor), Yves Klein (I.K.B.paint, the blue dress), and the way that Lewis Carroll's epilepsy influenced his work (the change of scale).
