Materials: burnt plywood, wooden shoe lasts, steel wire, duct tape Size: 60 cm x 40 cm x 30 cm This sculpture is in memory of all those who perished during the Holocaust. The phrase "Arbeit Macht Frei", meaning "Work Sets (you) Free", was on a sign at the entrance to Auschwitz.
