I was thinking of ways in developing my 'Portrait' theme, and came across the idea of sweing onto the canvas. This was one of my own ideas. I took a small canvas, and sewed into the canvas of a portrait of my brother. I did not fill up the whole of the whole of the canvas with sewing, as I like the empty white effect. I really enjoyed making this piece, and have been looking at other artists who have done similar work. |
