This piece, 'Abstraction: Decay' was created through chance. The spontaneous decision to try out a new technique proved to work and made this piece become one of my most successful pieces of study.
'Erosion and Decay' being my theme of my study is not realistically evident visually, however some element within the piece shows otherwise. The understanding and connotations associated with decay is present through the runnings and pieces of dried up ink. Decay itself is the deterioration of a subject - The image itself represents deterioration. |
