After completing some sewn pieces, I then went further in combining painting and sewing a portrait onto one canvas. I used inks to achieve these beutiful popping and loose colours on the canvas. I took some images of my god sister in beutiful clothes and jewllery. I then decided to sew the necklace she is wearing, as well as the bow. This then pulls my whole project together. I think this has turned out successfully, and I am very happy with the results. |
