Silver Gelatin Photograph
Focusing on the idea of framing the subject within a photo, I took this image at the moment the fleeting figure walked past the alleyway. By doing so, the subject was placed within the shape of the arch, and movement was created through the woman’s blurry figure and the shape of her coat. Whilst this photo was focusing on the use of a framing device, it was also taken in an older part of London to create an archaic photo reflected almost in the ghostly figure where her brief presence was just captured. |
