"For the theme of Layers, I displayed a series of large canvases which conveyed states of emotion, and laid out small empty canvases and acrylic paint to encourage viewers to respond visually to my work. These canvases were immediately put on display, thus creating a further series of layers to the work - visual conversations between canvases."
