This is a 3D piece of work which was inspired by my theme movement and cubism. I looked into the movement of olympic divers and I was inspired by the London 2012 olympics. This piece of work was developed from drawings in my sketchbook. The colours I used reflected different tones of water from deep ocean blues to sky blues. The shapes within the divers capture the cubist style, I really like the way that broken up shapes can still represent the movement of the divers. The most effective part of 'The divers' is the spiral traingles as they add a lot of movement to this piece. |
