Photo Description:
I completed this quick Oil painting on board for a personal project looking at self poratits and self-expression. I didn't want to use photographs to paint from, so I chose to paint it while looking in the mirror. I focused on colour, examening the warm and cool colours in the face as well as the effect of complementory colours. I expressed elements of my personality by holding the paintbrush and expression on my face.
