This dress is made out of different fabric and wire. Her initial starting point was too explore cocoons in nature and she then moved on to consider the cocoon-like quality of clothing, mirroring the 'protective coating' found in nature. We do not run a textiles course as a school but Hannah focused all of her A2 work towards applying for a course in Contour Fashion at De Montfort University, and has now been offered a place on the course which she is delighted about!
