Acrylic on canvas

This work was a representation of a kind of psychosomatic depression due to a lack of societal purpose in addition to symbolism depicting a naive pursuit of sexual assurance and mortality. When I was 8 years old my grandfather died and in the hospital on his body I observed a range of colour that was never present on anybody I'd ever seen before. I used these observations to differentiate parts of the living surfaced body and decaying submerged body. |
