Learning about different styles and cultures through the lens of optimism, is for me what this work is about. My interest in photography broadens itself by exploring new angles and distortions in such a way that my lens trans- formed the Belgian environment, where I grew up, into a Chinese garden. Inspired by the Belgian Photographer Marc Lagrange, I digitally edited the picture to enlarge the meaning of the Chinese signs, painted on my models back and on the canvas, which stand for: Peace Love & Happiness. |
