This is a montage of our caretaker 'Mr Evans' who has been a part of our school for many years.
The montage is made up of 126 individual squares and measures over 10 feet tall! Each child between Year 3 and Year 6 painted a square using emulsion paint, with no tracing, or guides given.
A digital photo of Mr Evans was taken and split into 126 squares numbered. Each child found their numbered square and just painted what they saw, looking closely at detail and shading.
When we put all of the squares together, this is what was created! It now fills a giant wall in our School Library.
