Showing the essence of the Urban Street, this piece shows the modern aspect of the rustic lifestyle. Lindsay Lohan as featured in the painting is to show the development of attention and influence of power over an individual, showing the redefinition of the word "Lust", meaning not to have strong sexual desires for someone, but to crave the demands of the modern image of perfection. Lindsay Lohan has been in show-business since she was a Toddler, and through her development from girl to woman has come into contact with the pressures of publicity and the expectations that are attached to that. She has grown into the mould of perfection and beauty so much so that when that mould was taken away she crumbled. Her lust is reframed now through her addictions. (91 cm x 121 cm) |
