The Rugby Player vs. the Half-Pint

The Rugby Player vs. the Half-Pint
Photo Description:
With the topic of bruises and violence in mind I came across a boy named Sam with a severe black eye, and asked if he would be comfortable with it being shot, hesitantly he agreed (likely because he had no idea who I was). During the shoot he admitted that it occurred during Rugby training when somebody kneed him in the eye, and that the offender was in fact quite a short person,I'd instantly assumed it was through sport beforehand. Now, if, say, you replaced Sam with a female, what would the general impression be? It wouldn't be perceived as an innocent accident, there would be mental connotations along with the damage to the face. Looking at Sam, perhaps one might think it was through a fight or through sport, but neither suggest him as a victim, demonstrating the difference in viewing Females and Males.
