This piece is very difficult to photograph! It consists of hanging three dimensional heads - some with expressions, some blank, some distorted by stitch and paint, all concealing and revealing differing aspects of my invented alter-ego. The heads would benefit from being within a clean white space and emit a macabre, gently floating installation within the room. They are based on self portrait photographs moulded into uniform head shapes. They explore the concept of our hidden personalities, and link to my interest in theatre and self expression. |
