I like this photo due to the positioning and composition and the way there is a lack of human presence. This has been taken from the inside of an old derelict farm storage building. I have taken it from a direct on shot but capturing it so that I get both the chair and the graffiti in the frame but it looks almost as if the monkey type graffiti piece is looking over the chair this section of the wall looks to be rushed with very short thin bits of graffiti little tags sprayed over the large piece that could be seen as art the fact that the chair has been placed there in this derelict place and there is just a garden chair on broken but still looks useable with a small piece of graffiti the broken piece is just layed on the floor behind it
This shows the lack or the loss of human presence in the way this was once possibly in someones garde and been used how did it get to be here was it stolen was it bought to be here it works well with the white makes it stand out this was right next to the enterence to the building it reminds me of like an old train station platform or some old veranda I think this image is actually quite frustraiting in the way it is very limited it makes me want to see more of the place because it is square and just dead set to viewing that specific place you want to be able to see the rest of the building now im not saying this is a bad thing at all because this makes the viewer think and use there imagination as to what there is if you turn around to see whats there and to where the photograph is because the floor actually looks clean and as if it hast been used much but to what the place was it wasn’t a clean tidy plce the clean concrete only lasted 20 meters and the rest of the building was just dirt and weeds and all bits fallen from the building celling
