The Horrors of War
Photo Description:
Marvin's work is mostly based around the futile horrors and everyday atrocities committed during wars. This piece uses acrylic paint transfers, pencil, newspaper and paint on canvas to communicate the impression that as we read about such happening so regularly in the papers we become immunized against the barbaric treatments of 'the enemy' and acclimatized to brutality until we barely notice it anymore.
