Taking the inspiration I had gained from Massaia’s ‘Afterlife 1’ I came across a local fair during the daytime and it appeared eerily deserted. I began to take shots of the fair to present it in a cold and dark manner. Using Photoshop I edited the series of photos using the dodge tool to create the appearance of unnatural highlighting around particular parts of the fairground to draw the viewer’s attention unknowingly to the uncomfortable nature of the photograph. |
