Ranelagh is a voluntary aided school serving the Anglican Deaneries of Bracknell and Sonning and admits pupils from across three unitary authorities (Bracknell-Forest; Wokingham and Windsor and Maidenhead) from 40 feeder primaries. Over 80% of our pupils live in Bracknell-Forest; demand for places is high and the school is over subscribed. Our pupils are from a mixed socio-economic background. The school has a unit for statemented pupils with specific learning difficulties. Several community projects have been undertaken between some of our community schools and Ranelagh, working across the key stages
The ethos of Ranelagh is founded on Christian belief and practice, aiming to provide a supportive, stimulating and secure environment where high standards of learning and personal responsibility are expected and achieved and where every member of the school community is respected and valued. The school was awarded specialist school status as a Visual Arts/Business Enterprise College in 2004 and HPSS Maths and Computing 2008.
