Ramona High School is a comprehensive high school (grades 9-12)of approximately 1800 students. Ramona is a semi-rural community located about 30 miles north and east of the city of San Diego.The citizens of Ramona travel to work in San Diego or other surrounding communities or work on near by ranches.There are a number of working visual artists in the community and we take every opportunity to have our students connect with them.In general, attitudes about visual art tend to be conservative rather than open to more contemporary and avant garde work.
