Pakefield School is a new school opening its doors for the first time in September 2011. It is the first new school for thirty years in the western area. Pakefield Department of Art is set to shake up the Arts Education system not only for the pupils who will be lucky enough to be part of this emerging alliance with postmodern art, but for the long term curriculum, especially as we are in a state of flux.

MUSEUM ATTENDANCE FIGURES

The Art Newspaper has published its international survey of 2010 museum attendance figures, and our three exhibitions last year have been ranked as the second, third and fourth most visited in London, surpassed only by Van Gogh at the Royal Academy of Arts. This follows on from The Art Newspaper's 2009 ranking in which the Saatchi Gallery presented the top two most visited exhibitions in London.
