We are a mixed Voluntary Aided Church of England Comprehensive School in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. We have 1650 students on roll including 400 in the Sixth Form.
We have a long and proud history, being part of the ancient foundation of Southwell Minster.
We are the Choir School for the Minster and we have, unusually for a state comprehensive school, a Junior Department for choristers and instrumentalists who have passed tests of musical aptitude.
In 2007 we moved into all new accommodation. We worked for over a year with our architects, Penoyre and Prasad, to create a school which reflects our ethos and aspirations. Constructed by GallifordTry, our new buildings have impressed all who visit us.
